Urban Pulse Reentry Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by the criminal justice system. We provide comprehensive reentry services to individuals returning home from jail or prison, as well as support for anyone affected by justice-system involvement—including spouses, families, and children.
Our mission is to help individuals successfully rebuild their lives, strengthen families, and overcome the barriers that often come with reentry. Through guidance, advocacy, resources, and community-based support, Urban Pulse works to create pathways toward stability, self-sufficiency, and a successful future—because reentry impacts more than the individual; it impacts the entire family and community.

Urban Pulse Reentry Services provides individualized employment support to help people returning home from jail or prison successfully enter and remain in the workforce. We understand that justice involvement can create significant barriers to employment, and our goal is to help participants build the skills, confidence, and connections needed to achieve long-term economic stability.
Our goal is not simply job placement—it is sustainable employment. Urban Pulse supports participants before, during, and after employment so they have the tools and support necessary to successfully rebuild their careers, provide for their families, and move forward after incarceration.

Urban Pulse Reentry Services helps individuals returning home from jail or prison identify safe, stable, and appropriate housing. We understand that securing housing can be one of the biggest barriers to successful reentry, particularly for individuals with a criminal record, limited income, or little rental history.
Stable housing creates a foundation for successful reentry. Our goal is to help individuals move beyond temporary solutions and toward a safe, stable place they can call home while rebuilding their lives, reconnecting with their families, and becoming established in their communities.
Reentry Advocacy
Urban Pulse Reentry Services provides guidance, accountability, and ongoing support to help individuals successfully navigate probation, parole, and court-related requirements. We assist with understanding supervision requirements, managing appointments and deadlines, connecting individuals to required programs and community resources, and addressing barriers that may affect compliance. When appropriate, we also work with probation officers, attorneys, treatment providers, employers, and other agencies to support successful reentry and long-term stability.
